JJ Watt Charity Classic

Capture Marketing provides full-service marketing, public relations and event management services for the JJ Watt Foundation’s events including their signature event, the JJ Watt Charity Classic. The family friendly event of 30,000+ fans features a softball game with the Houston Texans offense vs. defense, a home run derby, silent auction, merchandise, VIP reception and fireworks.

Capture Marketing worked with local and national media including ESPN, CBS Sports and CNN for featured stories on the event. We also oversaw pre-and-post game press conferences.

In four years, the JJ Watt Charity Classic raised $325,000, $433,000, $640,000, and $1,600,000 respectively.

JJ Watt Foundation Tailgate

Capture Marketing provided marketing, sponsorship, public relations and event management services for the JJ Watt Foundation Tailgate. The sold-out event (2,000 people) and was held at the Houston Methodist Training Center (Houston Texans Practice Bubble) prior to the Wisconsin vs. LSU game at NRG Stadium.

Since JJ Watt is UW-Wisconsin alum and his two younger brothers currently play for the Badgers we partnered with the UW-Wisconsin Foundation to market to UW-Wisconsin Alumni.

In addition to the event logistics, Capture Marketing worked to secure cash and inkind sponsorship along with silent auction items.

We also oversaw the press conference at the event along with day-of-event media coverage.
